We've only had the cheaper plan and never had any issue with throttling in our area. My wife uses 5G most of the time and streams videos constantly.

But depending on your area and how many people are using Verizon towers you might have the exact opposite experience...

They have to offer this to get people there in my experience. This is the worst carrier around. They screwed up my account and I lost service for five days. It took them three weeks to get an Apple Watch connected. The savings are definitely not worth it.

I think it depends on the area you're in. I had Mint for a little while and got no service in most of my area but Visible works great there. In Downstate NY. And I'm on the $40 plan with the Perks at Works discount. I get 5G mostly everywhere I'm at in the north east but I can speak for the mid or west coasts. My main issue is the chatting customer service. Once I waited over 24 hours to get a response. In a perfect world, it would be Mint's customer service with Visible's plan.

I just set it as an unlocked Iphone 13 Pro during sign up, it said compatible and didn't ask for an IMEI. When I got the sim card I just put it in an unlocked android phone an its been works fine.

A couple of my friends signed up for the Redpocket $30 200 min yearly plan they sell on their Ebay store. They then ported it back out to Visible. Not sure if you can pull all that off in the time before the promo expires.

Nice pricing, but having experienced their customer service or lack thereof is probably not worth it. Even RedPocket's outsourced Philippine-based CS is better from my experience.

Obtained the listed deal and did not have to port in a number to get that rate. The SIM card was overnighted and worked immediately. I made sure to use an email address that was not used for any other cell phone account.

Currently doing a visible trial, while my number is with Mint. (You download the Visible app, signup for a trial and setup an esim and try things out. If your device supports eSim, that is..)

I think we are going to stick with Mint though - they offer international roaming which is absent on Visible plans. I also got 0.33mbps outbound speed with Visible, while Mint was about 1.5mbps.

Interesting. I have 2 month left on my 3 month pixel visible plan. Now that you get "discount" home internet on the + plan, I might do it. I have red pocket gsma. Probably the slowest service. Have mint also. If they did not charge 2 bucks for esim transfer, I would have kept it.
