My concern is that I pretended I had an iPhone on the signup to bypass IMEI but I have an android. Altho it's just a standard nano sim that fits fine. Could this be the reason somehow?

Therefore, no issues porting my number. Port is already done and my guess is was ~instant.
it is only giving 4g is likely the fault of my phone compatibility (unlocked one plus 8T)
my first LTE speed test gave me 35.6 down and 6.6 up. not blazing especially compared to t-mobile and it's mvno's around here (My Metro PCS N20 connects to 5G UC and gets >200mb down at my house), but honestly it will suffice for my needs.
there may be a way to get 5g working on an unlocked 8t on visible, or there may not. i'm going to keep googling around.
i'm also suspected and from what i've googled wifi calling/sms probably wont work on this phone with visible. depending if verizon gets good signal the one place i use wifi calling on mint mobile, then I wont need it at all anyway (not needed at home for sure). And even if verizon gets no signal there, can be worked around by using my Google voice number on wifi etc.
not entirely sure it's worth the $10 a month savings over mint (granted, Mint is 25/month for 15GB only if prepaid for 12 months) to lose the blazing fast 5g and working wifi calling, but i'll have to see how the Visible signal is more in daily life around town. overall the reason i did this deal is there's no real risk other than at most $15, i can always cancel and go back to mint.
