Debating… knipex stuff is the bee's knees, but spendy. I'd use these for working inside of tube guitar amps. Would sure beat metal ones hitting the wrong component!

I just can't see it twisting 12 gauge, but heck if it works I am all in.. Anything that helps. I have had the tickle way more than any one should and should know better too..

Good price. Zoro has them for $26.71. If you have one of those 20% coupons, that would bring it down to about $21.37 with free shipping @ $50. If this is all you want or don't have the coupon tho, hard to beat this price.

I often bend the tips of metal pliers when gripping things, I can't imagine these would not snap under abuse.

I think these are "insulated" pliers so my plastic pliers not rusting idea is not quite right. It looks more like a hard plastic formed cover a conventional pliar to insulate it. Still a better tool than just my handle insulated needle nose is.

I guess I was thinking was that plastic was getting really strong these days..
