The roku version does not seem to support playback from the SD card in the App:

That is probably a deal breaker unless you want to pay for their yearly subscription.
Yes, from what I've read though they aren't compatible with each other's app.
Apparently their respective apps require whitelisted MACs, so you can't cross-flash them.

Yup. Roku's new smart home devices are rebranded Wyze smart home devices. Roku has teamed up with Wyze Labs to sell its own line of smart home products, including security cameras, smart plugs, and smart lights. 🤙

Yup. Grabbed this from Roku site. 🤙

Recordings can be saved to the cloud when you purchase a Roku Smart Home Subscription or backed up to a micro SD card. In addition to the previous recording features mentioned, you can also manually capture a video or photo of the live video stream on both smart home cameras and video doorbells.

I am curious too. Not that I would get their cameras over the Wyze branded ones, but I love my Rokus and have found them to be much better than Amazon equipment, at least for my use case. They have an IR sensor that allows me to use them with my universal remote, they are quick and last forever. I think I had my first Ultra for something like 6 or 7 years before I finally had to upgrade because it was too slow to support my Tablo. It still worked for everything else, just not streaming the Tablo content.

You get a free camera in their TVs. Just can't see what it is recording.

Roku is bad? On what basis? Roku has been one of the key drivers of the entire streaming movement, and it has about a 33% market share. Intermittent profitability aside, Roku has fast, reliable devices with an intuitive interface. Their Ultra box prob offers the best value for the price-point. Just give me a backlit remote like the Shield and don't think I would have any complaints.
