The nailers work really well, and have handy belt hooks at the end (though not sure how often you'll use them - I have and they're handy).
Fills with air pretty fast, and has enough capacity / PSI for me to run a framing nailer at apprx. 12 nails per minute (for home use I've found that more than sufficient). The smaller nailers / staplers can go as fast as you can.
Don't know about others and their uses, but I've found this kit to be a really good buy, and very useful.
Hope that helps.

The nailers feel solid and are smooth when you use them. I don't know if I'll find a use for the stapler, I'd also rather they have included a 21 gauge nailer, but the other two guns are nice for around the house if you find yourself needing to put up paneling/shiplap, re-attach baseboards or other trim, you just have to lug the compressor around with you unlike an electric.

Adjust the regulator output to match the tool and you'll avoid many issues with user error performance.
As far as the compressor itself, no idea.
My prior experience with portable compressors is all over the map. I still use a cheap harbor freight pancake model that's over 20 years old. At the same time I've used similar styles by big names that failed in weeks to years on build jobs. The ridgid five gallon dual tank with removable tank is the worst compressor I've ever used and pron to failure yet the six gallon ridgid vertical pancake compressor has been rock solid but absurdly loud. If you're using a compressor regularly the noise factor is as important as the job itself.
Lastly the not included 23 Gauge pinner was out of production for some years by ridgid. It was highly sought after during that time until it was re-released. They are excellent for trim and similar more detailed work. If your doing trim work, it's worth the investment.
