Hobbyist and amateur DIY home reno here. This is my 2nd compressor (bought at this price during Black Friday) , replaced a similar Bostitch. The Bs was louder, but filled about as fast. Released air faster at the end of the job / day.

The nailers work really well, and have handy belt hooks at the end (though not sure how often you'll use them - I have and they're handy).

Fills with air pretty fast, and has enough capacity / PSI for me to run a framing nailer at apprx. 12 nails per minute (for home use I've found that more than sufficient). The smaller nailers / staplers can go as fast as you can.

Don't know about others and their uses, but I've found this kit to be a really good buy, and very useful.

Hope that helps.
I've had my little Rigid Pancake for about 5 years now. I bought it thinking it would bide my time until I was ready for a 'decent' one. It has far exceeded all expectations to the point I realized it was all I ever really needed. I'm an active/compulsive remoddler since I was the new occupant of an original in-tact vintage home from 1959. And by that, I mean nothing was ever changed since-built, of an otherwise quality home. I have used it for everything I have done, including an amazing 2 story tiny house/super shed. It's plugged in 24/7/365 and doesn't ever refill unless I use it. It was great with my framing nailer as well as my roofing gun. I also use it to blow out my sprinkler system in the fall. It obviously has to work a bit for that with 30 second spurts between 2 minute recharges. With 5 stations, still only takes about an hour total, and I'm fine with that for a 1x per year task. I have it tucked under one of my workbenches in the garge and just run hoses to the mounted hose reel. Been a very solid purchase for me.
18ga nailer and 18ga stapler. Not sure that you saw the distinction

I picked this up the last time it was on sale and have been using the brad nailer on and off for shop projects (making tool hangers) for which it works great. It's definitely loud, so I can't really use it in the evening once our toddler goes to bed, which is disappointing, but then it's a pancake compressor and they're all like that.

The nailers feel solid and are smooth when you use them. I don't know if I'll find a use for the stapler, I'd also rather they have included a 21 gauge nailer, but the other two guns are nice for around the house if you find yourself needing to put up paneling/shiplap, re-attach baseboards or other trim, you just have to lug the compressor around with you unlike an electric.

This deal has been around for a couple of months. I wish the guns came with plastic cases or bags. They only come in carboard boxes.

I bought all these pieces individually from direct tools as blemished or recon and paid about $150-160 so this is pretty good deal.

The ridgid nailers, staplers and the not included 23 Gauge pinner are the best bargains around for what they are. With little maintenance and basic tool care they hold up to professional use day in and day out. I've never had any fail to date. Invest in a reliable compressor regulator and filter as that moisture from the compressor is what causes many air tools to fail.
Adjust the regulator output to match the tool and you'll avoid many issues with user error performance.

As far as the compressor itself, no idea.

My prior experience with portable compressors is all over the map. I still use a cheap harbor freight pancake model that's over 20 years old. At the same time I've used similar styles by big names that failed in weeks to years on build jobs. The ridgid five gallon dual tank with removable tank is the worst compressor I've ever used and pron to failure yet the six gallon ridgid vertical pancake compressor has been rock solid but absurdly loud. If you're using a compressor regularly the noise factor is as important as the job itself.

Lastly the not included 23 Gauge pinner was out of production for some years by ridgid. It was highly sought after during that time until it was re-released. They are excellent for trim and similar more detailed work. If your doing trim work, it's worth the investment.

Could the compressor also be used for painting?

I don't use the nailers on this package but heavily use the pancake compressor paired with a pneumatic hose reel. My application is on car DIYs and DIY spray painting. I am happy with the compressor for its performance and size.

Do you have any comment on how loud it is?
