jokes aside, i've owned two pairs of allbirds and they are terrible for just about anything other than walking in a straight line. the fact that they call them Runners should be criminal. i'd feel more secure in Compton with a sign around my neck that read "my wallet is in my back right pocket and it's all yours."
that nice silhouette is gone in no time and they begin to look real bummy (seeing your big toe protrude a bit, wool fabric stretching out a bit and becoming loose, etc.).
I definitely don't wear them for running, but they're great walking shoes in the city. I wore them on a hike once and soles were def not made for that, but they kept my feet warm (December) and dry.
I've worn these shoes as my everyday shoe since about 2018. They pull off wearing them to work and can be dressed up or dressed down, and they feel like you're wearing comfy walking shoes. I get a new pair every year for Christmas. I'm not easy on my shoes and they last the entire year and still look pretty good by the time they are retired to my backup/likely-to-get-dirty shoe for an additional year.
