I read that as the original price at 1/2/23 was $159.91. I could be wrong though as I've never seen a date next to it before! The bottom left corner shows yesterday; I assumed that's when it was printed.

That is how Sam's Club shows the price tag for clearance items. The original price with date is the actual date on which the item was sold for the original price. I bought a bunch of toys on clearance after Christmas and they all had a similar price tag.

its good price and as much as i love the gen 1 myself,

Gen 2 differences are night and days, battery for sure last 4+ hours compare to 2 hours with gen 1, and yes, sound is way better too

Target will price match. Call customer service and they'll match the price to order online. Took less than 5 minutes and I didn't have to go to the store.
