As somebody who doesn't have an iron and a deal sucker, I'd love an excuse to eventually buy one, but I don't really see the need

For electronics especially I don't like Acceptable.
Amazon warehouse ratings are not conservative.

But to the point I made in the first post, $21 more for like-new isn't an option. But sure, pretend I was claiming that was a better option and not just pointing out an alternate option for anyone who wanted to buy this iron

I actually bought this exact iron 3 years ago almost to the day. It was Like New, but it had black crap all over the plate. I called and they reshipped another like new and it had the factory sticker on the plate like it was never used.
IMO i wouldn't generally rule out taking a chance on an appliance for being "Acceptable," but then again this could actually be an example of an item where someone could have return-frauded one they bought a while ago.
I've been buying AW deals for years now, and the whole crapshoot aspect of it has been part of the fun.

My purchase was supposed to be a backup in case our current Rowenda died, but that was right before the pandemic and we've hardly ironed since so I never even used it yet. The box has a big smash in the upper side corner, which looks like it could have been discounted for that reason alone.
