OP, thanks for posting. Price is decent. I just got an email from newegg advertising an ABS prebuilt for $2199 with primary differences of an i7-13700KF processor (better), MSI Pro Z690-A mobo (mix, it's previous gen), 16GB RAM (worse), 700W power supply (worse), and unnamed brand of 1TB NVMe storage (possibly worse).

A few days ago they were offering $100 off their 13th gen intel but it's $50 today. This same setup with a 4080 and a 1000w PSU was $2050. This is still decent for a 4070ti and if you wanted to switch to a 4080 then you would be paying a little over $2100. The way they seem to be pricing their 40 series seems to be 70ti = $800, 80 = $1200, and 90 = $1800.

I got the 3080 for $1500 BF deal. I'm contemplating if its worth the hassle and extra $200 to get this 4070 TI with better DDR5 board, better ram (32 ddr5 vs 16 ddr4) and a slightly better cpu (12700 vs
13600)

How are these for reliability?
I have two units bought from iBuypower and over at least 2 yrs. zero problems with either.

It's definitely worth it!

I wanted to know this, too. The last time I looked at Cyberpower and iBuyPower was back in 07 when I was in high school and looking for a laptop. Didn't buy one from them and actually went the macOS route. I didn't know that either of those companies were still making stuff and now I see their stuff at Best Buy and, I think, Costco?

You guys trust the generic PSU and no name case? I had to spend quite a bit of money to dump those. Also: FYI, this configuration has NO CASE FANS and you didn't select any additional. You will regret that Smilie

EDIT: Case looks OK, but the front port selection leaves something to be desired...

If it's fee free to return, I'd go for it. Just make sure to click on the mentioned notable upgrades/extras on this post, at least the fans and maybe psu, to get the most out of it.

Would advise people to invest a little bit more and switch the power supply (PSU) selection to something better than what is already selected. I would not risk a >$1,800 build on a garbage PSU. B Tier is acceptable, A tier is preferred.

A TIER
- Corsair RMe Series RM1000e 80 PLUS Gold
- Corsair RMx Series RM750x 80 PLUS GOLD
- Corsair RMx Series RM850x 80 PLUS GOLD

B TIER
- Thermaltake Toughpower PF1 Series 750W 80 PLUS Platinum
- Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 850W 80 PLUS GOLD

With you about the power supply. Most cost effective route is dropping 50 watts and going with the tough power PF1, but either way, parting out a similar build comes out to more than the price before discount which has me questioning existence

Is it EVER better to build your own in this new dystopia of PC gaming?

Best PC in this price range by far. But if you already have a 3070/3080 I would save for a bigger upgrade.

Yes. This is a very good deal. 4070's go for about $1k alone. Plus this has a 14 core processor and DDR5 Ram.

Although not a big deal for some people, not a top tier NVMe, it's closer to Gen 3 speeds
