I was in the market for a 2TB 2.5 inch internal drive and shopping around. I was finding WD, Seagate and other known brands in the high $60s, low $70s. When I went to checkout a mysterious "BSE Event Promo" providing a $21.00 discount showed-up. The Amazon seller = Global Silicon Electronics, Inc. The discount was not showing on the product page or cart, only in the checkout.

I can't vouch for the reproducibility of this, and not really sure what a "BSE Event Promo" is, but know you fine folks will either help further this potential deal or down-vote into oblivion.

I got this too. I was shopping for a wifi router and went to check out and the promo, also $21, showed up out of nowhere. Got a $70 router for $49. Went to go buy a new power supply and it was still there, but stupid me I wanted to check a few more options and then came back and it's gone. Don't know how or why or where the BSE promo came from.

Thanks for sharing your similar experience. I googled "Amazon BSE Event" and am not getting any clues into what's happening here.

Must have been a glitch in the matrix. I spent quite a while googling it and trying to figure out what I may have done but I think after seeing your post, it's just a fluke.
