Man, you people are so hostile. Gotta argue all day, call people children and insult others, instead of seeing your own flaws. Then dig your feet in when you still think yourself superior even though you're just wrong. It was a simple question to see if anyone has had success in getting a price adjustment, and you choose to be a jerk. What happened to "if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all"?

You are right, it doesn't hurt to call. There's still value in seeing if others had any luck getting their price matched with DTO. That may determine how persistent to be - i.e., should they call back repeatedly to get a different agent.

Strange, I checked out at just after midnight on cyber Monday because website was lagging. I was charged full price but a quick call and they said accounting would fix it in a couple days, which they did.

Because 1. They are closed. And 2. The internet may have an answer saving me call time. And 3. Sometimes, especially on slickdeals, there are tricks of the trade that one wouldnt know about if they dont ask. Example: "HUCA" is a popular one for many deals where customer service is involved.

I bought some stuff before a big sale @ 25% off and did call to see if they could adjust the price. It was a No. UNless you really want and need the item. Wait and track the prices for yourself before you buy.

Anybody have an opinion on the ryobi workshop blower vs high volume inflator for keeping workbench clean? The inflator is a much nicer size but will I miss the power?

The ridgid 6 port sequential charger is the lowest I've seen it at $71.99 + shipping. I've been watching it since it came out. I really want to pull the trigger on it for its convenience but it's hard for me to justify dropping $80 on a charger when I already have a half dozen solo chargers from various slick deals.
