Your Straight Talk phone has been activated for at least 12 months on a Straight Talk plan.
Also straight talk is under the tracfone umbrella, which means once you activate the device it can be unlocked after 60 days.
If you go to the tracfone unlock request page, you can see the straight talk icon is the first listed on the top of the page: https://www.tfwunlockpo
All that being said, it looks like a good deal
Straight Talk cell plans start at $35, but if you chat with a tracfone rep they should be able to change the phone over to tracfone and their plans start at $15. So ~$185 + tax and shipping and in 60days you have a new unlocked A53... not bad

If "Brand New", shouldn't it have the standard Samsung smartphone warranty?

Maybe. Maybe not. Their database of phone IMEIs and ICCIDs is pretty wonky.
Do you really want to waste a significant amount of time with know-nothing/unhelpful TracFone CSRs?

I hope when the a54 comes out they don't announce it. SD card support has been nerfed as well
