In all fairness though, there's an advantage to portion control vs. tearing open a huge bag and overdoing it!

It's showing 4.98 not $4.48 so it gets same per ounce price.

It's not really a large quantity but that would depend somewhat upon the expiration date. Sometimes these reduced prices are intended to clear out short dated inventory.
