I know that sucks! But tbh I feel like I barely get rewards as a non credit card holder but I personally feel as if free shipping offsets it.
Yes.

This is actually a winner for those who DONT regularly shop there. They even get to save more $ on the spot as a perk versus needing to spend $250 to get a measly perk of $5 reward certificate.

Immediate dividend is what I'm talking about.

Cmon guys, let's keep this post uncluttered with all the 4k stuff... So, what's a good sub $5 purchase? I have a $5 reward I need to use
Actually, you cannot spend a RZ certificate for less than its amount meaning you can't get a sub-$5 item for free because you can't spend less than $5 pre-tax. While I'm Elite Plus and bank my points, I had a $50 RZ cert they issued for meeting a credit card deal that was about to expire and I had to mess around with trying to find the cheapest thing I'd actually use to get me over the limit. (Ended up buying a Criterion Blu-ray, a PC game, and a pair of USB-A to USB-C adapter cables.) I suspect the reason is that because they calculate sales tax AFTER the discount*, they forbid being in negative figures or allowing users to forfeit the balance.

*e.g. If you buy something for $6 and apply a $5 RZ cert you pay tax on the $1 remainder. If you have a big RZ cert, that can save a lot. When the Star Wars 4K box set came out, I had $195 in RZ to use or lose so my out of pocket cost was less than $60 and I saved nearly $12 in sales tax in the process.

As long as they keep the point redemption per certificate the same, I'm good. I have a lot of unused points, and I would hate to have to rush to use them up before a change ... like Starbucks rewards where they update the program and reduce point value every few years.
From what I read, you only have 60 days to use them if you don't sign up for the credit card.

Thanks! Good to know. I do have their card, and I use it quite a bit even outside of BB, so I should be good.

Hahah buy buy Best Buy I'll be purchasing all games from GameStop which gives 2% back on all purchases.

P.S. Best Buy delivers every single video game I pre-order days after the launch day despite STATING it will 'arrive by launch date'. They're worthless now.

Those aren't 100% facts their original tv show's and movies and documentary's are mostly 4k.but there original films which are mainly films I don't like cheap looking special effects and bad Dialogue.plus they 4k plan is to expensive. And I own 300 films digitally and just about all the streaming apps and I still buy physical media,
You are talking about bad dialogue and you can't even type a sentence with remotely correct punctuation or grammar.

Netflix produces extremely high quality and high production value content, that's an objective fact.

Fear Street movies decimate anything on Disney+ or Apple, or Amazon, and that's just 3 movies.

Go check out The Glass Onion the sequel to Knives Out, exclusively on Netflix. Enjoy.

Yep, BB credit card holder still gets points banking.

I have the card too, and their card holders should have some exclusive perks, but it was absolutely dirty and short-sighted of them to destroy the Rewards program for big spenders. If their intention was to steer people into TT or card signups, I doubt it worked. You can see in almost every BB thread on SD, how many people have sworn off of BB for good because of the Rewards fiasco.

Who the F uses netflix?! I made my own netflix with plex!!! BWHAHAHAHAHA
Hahaha you made a piece of garbage server that hosts your handful of old movies you own or movies you illegally downloaded in shit quality.

Netflix puts out new content constantly which you'll never have access to. Knives Out sequel, etc etc.

Well not every cares about time. Maybe you do, but others have time and would rather save the mileage on their car..
Hmm "Joined: 01-09-2023" today just like the other 2 guys in this thread obsessed with this time vs distance argument.

You had to create 3 accounts just to try to get your inane point across. Kinda pitiful, really. LMAO

That's partially true... but really, most torrent sites now host the webrips of all these movies and shows at 4k with dolby sound if you want. Sounds counterproductive to spend gigabytes downloading something when you can just stream it for the same data size, but for pirates, it's usually about the ability to, and not the cost.

Screw best buy. I returned an unopened chromebook and they gave me a partial refund because they charged $29.99 for some webroot security crap that I never purchased.
You have to make sure you remove it from your purchase at checkout. It's a scam they've had for years now.

Probably employ a cut-rate company that pays their drivers terrible wages, drivers who will likely then punt your goods the final 10 yards to your door.
They use Shipt which sucks major ass. I've lost out on DoD prices because Shipt won't try to redeliver if you're business is closed, they just return the item for a refund. They won't even bother to send you a notice to pick it up yourself if they come when you're closed. Plus they don't listen to the notes where I specifically state that if they can't deliver during business hours I'll have someone pick up.

Some of the drivers also expect tips, which I won't do since I don't tip the FedEx, Mail, or UPS except on xmas. Getting sick of this tip happy culture. If their employer thinks they're not worth more, why should I?

If no one has answered yet, yes, if you use certificates for a purchase and end up returning, they refund the certificates.

Since no one seems to have answered your actual question:

If you received points that you cashed in for a certificate, but returned the item that gave you those points, then the amount of points you received for the purchase would be deducted from your account. If you already cashed in your points for certificates you would have a negative points balance.
Thank you for your answer.
