Seems like a decent price. 100 bucks less than the cheapest price available online .
Not sure they would be worth the retail of 650.00

Agreed. There's no studies on the safety of these "stone" nonstick coatings, but apparently they are impregnated with a silicone lubricant that is slowly released each time it's used. Once that runs out, the lubricant is used up. That means some quantity of it in your food each time you use it.
