Just left my local Lowes where I scored a Bosch 18-volt 3/4-in Sds-plus Variable Speed Cordless Rotary Hammer Drill (Tool Only) and a battery for $80 plus tax. Retail price should have been $280. This is definitely YMMV because Brickseek isn't even close. I'll include links below but I wouldn't treat them as gospel.

When I click on the photo of your receipt, it takes me to Lowe's website. Was there a special going on at your store?

No special. Just clearance. The battery package had notable dust on it and the boxes for the drills had some wear and fading.

You might want to add that it is an SDS-plus rotary hammer drill which is far different than a regular hammer drill.

you need to check them out in store, public website price cannot reflect the real time clearance price. I saw a $48 bosch impact wrench, and when I looked at the price online, it's 189 at that store, when the lowe's associate scanned it using his scanner, it showed $48

I got these when they were $55 (iirc) and there was a 4ah battery pack included. And I put them up for sale a week later (the day after I first tried one out)... the regular hammer drill is more effective. I thought it'd be a cool small rotary for beating up, but it was pitifully weak.

It still blows me away that these aren't $80 retail. ¾ rotary is just a bizarre size to me and without any oomph, it was almost a pointless tool if you had ANYTHING else already lol.

I'm amazed these weren't discontinued and clearanced into the void of existence long ago.

So, if this is your first rotary hammer drill , don't think they're all this bad. Dont think the type of tool or brand is 💩 ... Pretty much every other SDS style (and even a regular Hammer Drill) will crush this.

The Lowes website can reflect realtime store price but for some brands, they won't show the clearance price online. I've seen it with DeWalt too.

My impression is that if Lowe's online shows item in store, the online price is accurate. If online shows item not in store (future date for pickup), then if the item is indeed in store, it may carry a different price

Mine works fine. Sure it's not a corded 1-1/8, but for most of what I do, I'm happy with it. I borrow one for 3/4" and up.

I also use it with 8.0 battery unless I'm using small bits, say 3/8" or less, then I use the 4.0.
