Question: would the onn model be good as a UPS to supply the 120V AC for my cable modem and my router? Currently, the router and the modem are just running off an ancient Panamax wall wart (which is a surge protector but is not a UPS).

Thank you!

Is this dead or just only if your local stores have stock? I'm not seeing shipping or store pickup options.
it shows pickup and shipping from store for me, so I guess it only works if it's available in local stores

That would be good to have out here in Cali right now with all the storms coming in.
I've been consistently getting light drizzle. Was told by NWS area will get between 2"-4". But in reality, my area only got .65"

If you don't need the emergency features, this is a better deal. $68.00 before tax.

This is really not designed to be a full-on UPS. It's more to be a temporary fix in case of emergencies. I doubt you'd get a ton of time of real world usage out of it, plus it looks like it only has one AC plug. I don't think it can even plug in two devices via AC.

Where is this? I live in Northern Santa Barbara county, and received 3 3/4" at my house. South SB county received quite a bit more and had a lot of problems.

A key question is does this provide output while charging? Most power banks don't support pass-through charging. If not, it's useless for what you want to use it for, and Walmart doesn't specify the answer.

A UPS has other benefits like surge protection, leveling to deal with brownouts, spikes, and the like, etc. They just don't last very long. Verizon FiOS combos take [email protected], for example, so a cheap 450VA UPS would run maybe an hour or two.

No it would not. The only system that I have seen as of recent that acts as a decent UPS as well is those Ecoflow River and higher ones.

In fact, I would have a hard time recommending this for ANY sort of sensitive electronics that don't have good built in conversion. This is almost certainly not pure sine wave power and probably not even sine wave.

It's likely that your modem and router use DC 12V produced by the AC adapters. This has 12V DC barrel jacks and a cigarette lighter port that would be better for directly powering those devices than going through an inverter to AC and back to DC. You'd just need to get some 5.5mm barrel jack to barrel jack cables.

Fuel type: gasoline
Engine: 4 stroke
That's in the description.
Do you add gasoline when the battery starts sparking?
