I always see stuff like this and think to myself: Would this become some sort of collector's item in the future? Could this $9 turn into $900 dollars in 30 years? But then I remember the Star Wars pez dispensers I bought when I was a kid, and how they're all over Ebay for like $8....

Yes and no. Most of these toys are little more than ploys to exploit the parents' nostalgia so they can use their kids as an excuse to appease their own inner child. I'll admit, if I had kids I'd probably do the same at least 50% of the time. I was legitimately intrigued enough, momentarily at least, to click the link and respond to this, and I don't even have kids to use as an excuse.

The Netflix series seems to be pretty popular with kids. Anecdotally, my son and several of his friends all love he-man stuff
