And yet another buyer here whose seat broke within a year of purchase. Only 2 users, lightweight for Americans, and - not to brag - but we've been using toilets for many years so we aren't misusing them. We had to duct tape the seat in place after the hinge broke, which was not a good look.

There is a known issue with these units and - according to their own service team - the third party manufacturer who produces their seats refuses to acknowledge and fix the issue. They promised me a replacement seat until the costco return window ended, then failed to deliver. After repeated calls. Super shady.

In Summary:

This is a known product issue resulting in thousands of reported failures (according to their own service team).

Bio Bidet refuses to fix the issue, just blame the supplier.

Bio Bidet may promise you a fix or replacement seat, but never ship it.

Even if you buy at Costco and return it to them, its a nasty process filled with clorox wipes, teflon tape, suspicious leaking liquids, lugging awkward garbage bags into retail stores, and shame.

Save yourself from this hassle and buy from a different company.
BioBidet makes their money on crap, and they treat their customers the same.

Same story here. Soft close seat stopped closing softly 1 month after warranty expired. Purchased from Costco, but I just can't bring myself to return a toilet seat that's been used for a year.

I tried bio bidet twice: the first one broke right after 1 year warranty (not from costco), second one broke in 6 months. It was from Costco, so I returned it.

I like them, but have serious concern on the quality for Bio Bidet.

Bite the bullet and put in a real bidet if you have the room in your bathroom, worth every penny.

I bought this one from Costco then returned it after 2 weeks of use.
Installation was fairly easy, the seat is kind of high for me, some peole had this problem too.
The air dry is useless, not powerful enough for it purpose, this is the main reason for return.
True, air-dry does have about the air volume of a mouse fart.
On the other hand, washing your butt versus smearing poop around is a huge difference and you'll use significantly less paper, just enough to dry off.

avoid this brand. Same experience as many others on here. Ours develop a crack in the seat and its out of warranty since we did not buy this at costco.

Do you feel warm air is not warm at all?
While the air is running, you can change the temp with the remote. Similar how you can change the water pressure while the water is going. You just use the left and right up/down arrows. Up (the right button) is warmer, down (the left button) is cooler. There are 5 settings. Anything above 3 gets uncomfortably warm for me personally.

Just wanted to give my experience using this Bidet in the past 2 years.

I had an issue with the nozzle dripping water when not in use. I was within the warranty period and they processed my repair with no issues whatsoever. For two years now, it's been running flawlessly.

There's a temp adjust to make it warmer, the default is not warmed likely. check the manual perhaps

Mine stopped heating after 6 months. It's a pain to install/uninstall and while I was able to return the item back to Costco, I would not buy this brand again.

Installed one at my moms house for her for Christmas. Between 3 users in the house, two of which are overweight, the seat failed within 2 years. The pipes were leaking prior to the seat failure, over a year in under two, that and had to disconnect and use as regular toilet seat until that failed. Bought another that never worked for dads house before I got one that did. So far 1/3 on bio bidets that function for over 2 years.

Had this exact one. Did not last and even when it was working I found the pressure to be lackluster. Would sometimes take multiple rounds to get fully clean. Also, the remote is annoying to use. Way too many options and the main option I needed (Turbo) required flipping the remote over. Was happy when it broke so I could return it to Costco for my money back. I will stick with my cheap bidet (way better pressure) and save up for a quality Toto.

I bought three of them about 3 years ago. One of them broke at the hinge early last year; I filed a claim with my credit card's warranty and it was covered.

A second one just started busting in the same hinge area. It's probably going to completely break off in a month or so; this one is out of warranty.

Anyone have recommendations on other electric models?

I have this model. Purchased in 2019 I think. I have had no issues. Moved twice and brought it with me. Considering buying another for backup. I believe it's paid for itself and would buy another. The one thing I don't like is the 2 sided remote.
If you're not using the automatic function you're missing out.
If you press the dryer button twice it increases the volume of air.
I think there are more people out there who are happy with their purchase and are not commenting than the negative comments suggest.

To be clear, there is no return window for this at Costco. It's not subject to the 90 day limit. That only applies to things like TVs and computers.
Davin - for clarification, are you saying that there is no limit to the return window for this thing at Costco, or that the return window is only 30 days? Thanks in advance.

There is no time for any return at Costco except the 90 day limit on TVs and computers.

I bought mine 2 years ago, and it is amazing. Still works perfectly. I adore the heated seat. I dread using other cold seat toilets. I convinced 3 other people to buy this model and they all love it too.
