And yet another buyer here whose seat broke within a year of purchase. Only 2 users, lightweight for Americans, and - not to brag - but we've been using toilets for many years so we aren't misusing them. We had to duct tape the seat in place after the hinge broke, which was not a good look.

There is a known issue with these units and - according to their own service team - the third party manufacturer who produces their seats refuses to acknowledge and fix the issue. They promised me a replacement seat until the costco return window ended, then failed to deliver. After repeated calls. Super shady.

In Summary:

This is a known product issue resulting in thousands of reported failures (according to their own service team).

Bio Bidet refuses to fix the issue, just blame the supplier.

Bio Bidet may promise you a fix or replacement seat, but never ship it.

Even if you buy at Costco and return it to them, its a nasty process filled with clorox wipes, teflon tape, suspicious leaking liquids, lugging awkward garbage bags into retail stores, and shame.

Save yourself from this hassle and buy from a different company.
BioBidet makes their money on crap, and they treat their customers the same.

Same story here. Soft close seat stopped closing softly 1 month after warranty expired. Purchased from Costco, but I just can't bring myself to return a toilet seat that's been used for a year.

I tried bio bidet twice: the first one broke right after 1 year warranty (not from costco), second one broke in 6 months. It was from Costco, so I returned it.

I like them, but have serious concern on the quality for Bio Bidet.

$200+ bucks? dangg! just buy a freaking non-electrical one for $20+ bucks. They all do the same thing which is to wash you arse. You don't need those heated seat, dyer, lights, etc. gimmicks, you will only stay on that seat for around 10 minutes!

You need to run a dedicated line for this or your lights will flicker when it is keeping the seat heated. Annoying af.

I have a different model from this company that I bought about 3 years ago. It still works wonderfully. One word of advice though, realize that toilets come in round and elongated formats. Make sure your toilet matches whatever format this is.
Does your model have the charcoal filter and do you know how to replace it?

It does but I never even considered replacing the filter. Sorry.

Having one of these is a life saver in the event the news causes another toilet paper panic!
Not really the medias fault people started hoarding.

I am out of stocked TP but I have a month plus supplies left. I'll wait for a sale to buy again. Problem was during the pandemic people in my situation had plenty on hand, but stocked up every few days. Which led to the shortage with the supply chain issues which is still an issue 2 years later. If people had bought normal we'd be fine. Then you had commercial TP all stocked up because no one was going anywhere, stadiums and venues such as those places shut down, people working remote, etc.

I had the same issue with light flicker after adding a receptacle for the bidet. Fixed by swapping out my cheap Costco Feit LED bulbs with more expensive GE Refresh LED bulbs. No more flicker.

I've had one for 3 years it's been the best purchase. I bought it at $300 and it probably saved me that much on toilet paper over the course of the 3 years. Yes, I still use TP, but only a fraction of what I used to. Game changer. I can never go back.

Literally every person on this thread is reporting that this product will break in 12 months, like a class action lawsuit level of failure, and this thing is still getting thumbs ups? smh...

I bought this one from Costco then returned it after 2 weeks of use.
Installation was fairly easy, the seat is kind of high for me, some peole had this problem too.
The air dry is useless, not powerful enough for it purpose, this is the main reason for return.

Who can recommend a more reliable and lasting brand then?
Toto (they make great toilets, too).

Plan to spend around $500 on one of their mid-level bidets. Yeah, it costs a lot, but I look at it like I use it every day and if it is quality I shouldn't have to replace it for many years. I am frugal about a lot of things but not this.

The Toto Washlet at Costco is $360 regular price:
