They had similar promo few years back and after second dish the wait time increased and food coming out was getting worse as well. My 4th plate was barely warm and didn't taste as good as previous one as well (I went with different choice each time so on 4th was back to first choice). But it feels I get same treatment elsewhere whenever coupon for something free or super cheap is involved, severs look at you like a biggest scumbag which irritates me since if you don't like it why run such promos and offers in the first place (olive garden soup and bread sticks unlimited ..... cough cough)
As a senior I can eat before 4PM at Golden Corral for $10.49, and they have a large selection.
Usually a great place to eat and choose whatever you want.
The only time I was concerned was when the ice cream machine ran out.
I'm wondering the same….probably be better off adding a dollar or two to that and going to the local Asian-American buffet (almost every town has one). Far more variety for a similar price.

I did this a few months ago when it was only Boneless Wings but a few bucks cheaper. They gave you a full serving for your 1st plate and then you have to ask for half servings afterwards I believe was how it went. I had no issues with getting food and the server was friendly but I'm sure this is very YMMV depending on the general service level of your Applebees and just how busy it is at the time. I'm capable of eating a lot so it was a good for me, probably ended up end 4 'servings' of wings that day.

Yea I remembered when they only did wings. To speed up service was each of us would by a different flavor and when they brought it out we made a second order. So we shared and by the time we were done the second set came out. And we would repeat.

For $15 and this type of food (basically finger food/appetizers) I'd spend my money at a buffet. That's if I were in the mood to over indulge.

Last time with the boneless wings deal, first plate took 25 min, to get second one 45 minutes and third one 55 min. I gave up after that.

First thing I tell my waiter/waitress on a deal like this (Red Lobster does unlimited shrimp once or twice a year) is let's get you a good tip after we eat, wink wink. Always when I put my order in they tell me they will have a 2nd plate ready. In the red lobster deal I just tell them what kind of shrimp(s) I want for the refill. Another thing that can help is DON'T go at peak hours. I try to go earlier before the rush hour for dinner. If this deal is still around in 3-4 weeks I'll be sure to go!

any idea how much they will charge for kids?

Or is it ok to order a kids meal and share a few chicken wings with the kids?

I have to agree on Red Lobster experience like that as well, even without mentioning tip the server would ask if I would like another when they brought ordered dish and don't remember any issues with that place TBH, with Applebee's on the other hand the closest location to me I went once and waited with my spouse for 40min just to get a glass of water at which point we just walked out without ordering, few months later that place burned down completely (nothing I had hand in ) but they built new one on its place later anyways so maybe servers knew it was going down and didn't care much or something.
