one would think that SD has an interest in not having all Lowe's & HD links open and immediately close again since that's how SD makes money.
for those who think they know better: No issue with other links, no change if using ad blocker or not and same in all browsers and even on different OS.

Nah, you're not... ummm.. Krazi
Some folks think they know better, but we've tested it on multiple platforms (Win, Mac and Linux), multiple browsers (Chrome, Mozilla / Firefox, Opera, Safari, and others) and with and without ad blocking software and all with same behavior. No other links so far have shown the same problem.
Kinda off subject but why is the crate $34? You can buy the box for $39 on sale OR off at $50 but crate seems to be holding steady at $34... when do they put it on sale?

My current workaround is to right click and open in a new incognito window and it opens fine.
Not ideal, but it works for now.

I've been following the crate for a long time. I bought some awhile back when they were $25 before inflation hit. That was the former regular price. I kept waiting for a sale, but I finally gave up and just made the purchase. Wish I bought more, but I've yet to see it go down in price even back then. Seems to hold steady in terms of price.

You can also copy the link and paste it into another tab to open, if you want to preserve whatever SD points or cashback or whatever you might get by connecting it to your account. The only time I tried to use that it never went through, though, so I don't really care myself.

I'm using Firefox and uBlock Origin. I found that putting slickdeals.net in the trusted site section fixed the tab auto shutdown. My uneducated guess is the way slickdeals tracking your click and forwarding somehow triggered uBlock protection.

A good alternative to Packout. I like the fact it is not not as eye-catching compared to Packout's "STEAL ME RED"
