Good deal but I have this blower and it is not good. It moves about as much Air as my tiny little Worx 20v blower but at twice the size, weight, and noise.

For me with leaves, I have a normal sized backyard and one large maple tree. i can barely get all the leaves to a central location with a 6ah, 5ah, and two 1.5ah batteries. it doesnt work on snow (unless it's a minimal (1/4") amount of light snow). it's good for grass clippings and blowing out the garage and for chasing your kids

Shows Oos for me. I have one and a B&D I use in tandem. Want to return the B&D and get another DeWalt as the B&D is weaker and designed poorly, the vents are on the side and keep sucking in my jeans.

For a small jobsite blower you might consider the DCE100. I am an HVAC Tech and often work
In dusty attics, and one of the first things I do when entering the space for a sizable job is blow off the service platform,. Some are as large as 200 sq ft and this small blower makes them broom clean n short order, just gotta wait a few minutes afterward for the airborne dust to clear.

I hate kneeling in debris!

I have a decent sized yard with two sycamore trees and one large, very messy tree. This blower works well for blowing out leaves, but it is loud and goes through batteries fast. I've got my routine down and can do the yard with (1) 5 amp battery, but you gotta move fast.

These aren't suited for general use in any kind of real lawn, they don't really have power and you'll be changing out batteries like mad. BUT for a quick clean out of the garage they work very well

Ironically I used mine for the first time the other day to clean off the platform in my attic, except that was mostly blown-in insulation.

Showing out of stock online and all stores within 100 miles (SF bay area), bummer. The video I linked before showed it doing exactly what I needed, blowing gravel paths and driveway.

I had this and returned it for the flexvolt. The flexvolt will blow leaves with ease. I have used it to blow a dusting of snow off parts of my driveway and cars in the winter. I use it to help dry my cars after I wash them as well. It's harder to find deals on flexvolt batteries so just buy one that already comes with a battery.

This isn't as strong as the big gun but as a women with lupus, ( yes I use tools when I feel up to it) I like the light weight of this one. It's more manageable for me with my health issues. I can blow off our outside covered porches. With a light leaves and dirt. Sometimes I blow out the house right by the doors too.

Unless you wanna keep the batteries/charger and return the blower, I wouldn't say this is a good deal IF the blower doesn't work well.

Why would anybody buy this rather than spend more for something more power? How much of a difference in cost would make up for all these shortfalls mentioned?

I already own the batteries so I don't need to buy anything else.
I don't have to worry about keeping extra gas on hand without changing it out for my (infrequent) use. It's just grab and go.
If someone was just starting out, it's not a great idea. But I paid 89 bare tool. At that price it was a no brainer, shortcomings included.

I could have bought a 60v model, but at that point I'd buy a stihl
