I have this watch since 2018. It was part of the Recraft series, I believe.
It's not bad. Can't wind it manually and the rotor is a bit loud when winding initially. No other complaints.
Looks good (subjective) and keeps time well.

Man, I like Orient and have a few of them, but this is still a decent deal at $108. Seiko is king of the 'budget but not trash' automatic arena. The fact that they can crank out as many automatics as they can while maintaining an acceptable level of quality is an economy of scale marvel.

I think Seiko is the only watch manufacturer with prices in the $100-$250000 range. Most of what they produce is very good quality. Orient is very decent, but it's no Seiko. Some of their watches are comparable, but Seiko is way above in terms of movements, finishing and originality. I own watches by both brands, btw

Yeah, I love my Bambino and Mako, but I have like a dozen or more SKX/SRPD/SRPE/SNK varieties. They just have more interesting combinations to me. The answer is that both brands are great.

Orient is a great brand, no doubt, but Seiko is just a bit greater Smilie
Presage, King, Pro Diver Limited and, of course, their Grand line with "Kodo" at the helm. Maaan, that's on par with the best of the best.
Orient is just not in the same league, sorry.Smilie
