Why do people care about this so much? It's fine to eat soy.

A little more sat fat than I realized just for those who need to pay attention to that! At least the protein is high. I probably won't buy these again. The ingredients aren't the best and the taste is meh.

1. Soy is lower quality protein when compared to other sources like egg or whey
2. Soy is usually genetically modified (bioengineeried)
3. Soy suplements such as soy protein are high in phytoestrogens which is linked to higher risk of certain estrogen sensitive cancer.

Per the Mayo Clinic: "Soy or isoflavone supplements, on the other hand, generally contain higher levels of isoflavones. Some studies have suggested a link between soy or isoflavone supplements and an increased risk of breast cancer in women who have a family or personal history of breast cancer or thyroid problems."

You don't need to agree, but those who are cautious of supplements with soy protein have a logical basis supported by scientific fact.

Those cautious of soy are usually lead by false claims spouted online. Soy is a healthier protein and better for the environment. You don't have to agree, but here are multiple sources to help impact your "logic".

Nothing I posted is a false claim. All three are facts. It seems this topic is like politics since there is no universal truth. Beyond the 3 items I posted, soy and other vegetable proteins are almost always higher in heavy metals. And most soy, unless labeled as organic, is GMO.

If you think GMO is safe, that's fine. But nearly all European countries have banned or partially banned GMO food (In the European Union the following countries have banned GMOS: France, Germany, Austria, Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Poland, Denmark, Malta, Slovenia, Italy, and Croatia.:This is a fact.

Per Consumer Reports, "Overall, the products made from sources of plant protein such as soy or hemp fared worse than those made from whey (milk) or egg, containing on average twice as much lead and measurably higher amounts of other contaminants.". This is a fact.

i suppose I am more cautious about what eat. Besides soy, this product has numerous artificial ingredients. In my opinion, it is not a healthy product.
