Does this include City double cash back cards? That's still pretty far off.

Apparently a target offer, most likely for Citi Dividend cards.

Does anyone know where you sign up for this in the Citi app? Chase and Discover send the cashback signups for new quarter well before the new quarter starts but Citi is always late on it, I didn't get any emails or anything.

Not sure what OP is talking about. 5% categories have been known at least a month ago, I changed Amazon default payment to my Citi Dividend card at least a week before Christmas so I wouldn't forget to do it later. I remember getting official email from Citi; but if you do not receive one, all you need is to google this a few weeks before new quarter starts

For me, a bigger issue is that you need to hit at least $50 in cash back to be able to move it out, unlike, for example, Chase Freedom.

Doesn't always do any damn good to google it. Shittibank is the absolute worst. Called them last week to ask about it, and I was told that they activated me for paypal. WTH? That was last quarter and had already been activated. Their rep insisted that it was not last quarter, but rather the current quarter. How the hell this place stays in business is something else.

Citi dividends is so out dated. You have to earn $50 before you can cash out.

They didn't mention which card unfortunately and if you have to ask probably your card is not offering this. For example 2% cash back does not offer rotating categories. Only cards I know that offer this is now Chase and Discover. Citi is a bit cheap but 2% throughout the year is not bad, especially if it is still unlimited.

"Your total annual cash back is limited to $300 and includes cash back earned with this offer.

Who would still be using these cards? Lol

Shittibank indeed!

I called yesterday to combine thank you points between accounts and the idiot I spoke to was ADAMANT that they stopped allowing this 8 months ago. When I pointed out that the option is available online (although you have to call to first link accounts) she said she knows but it's not possible. And neither is sharing with other cardmembers, which again, is on the website. Complete moron.

So I asked to talk to her supervisor and she hung up on me. Called back and got it done within 5 minutes. Still annoyed by that idiot.

Citi Dividend. It has 5% bonus categories that rotate every quarter. Citi doesn't accept new applications. It was rather useful last year. Easy $300.
2022 bonus categories:
Q1: Amazon; select streaming services.
Q2: Grocery stores; drugstores.
Q3: Gas stations; home improvement stores.
Q4: Restaurants; select travel.
