This company Hi-Rez Studios has no creativity and just cashes in on the latest fad... first with Paladins (Overwatch knockoff), then Smite (MOBA), now this Smash clone. They can't even come up with their own unique characters/IP.
This game is in the sixties on Steam. Also, I believe it's just a free-to-play game. Sure, you can buy some versions to get in game currency and items, but I don't know about this version. Is it literally just the same base version that you can play for free elsewhere?

Isn't that just most of gaming. You mention overwatch and moba but those are clones of team fortress and dota. Hi-Rez games are ok. Definitely the knock off brand but like still name brand like Puma or Mr Pibb

Paladins is still unique their own way with card specs. Some people enjoy it far more than overwatch.

Side note: Adidas and Puma are founded by two brothers, Adi Dassler and Rudolf Dassler.

Yeah, I agree... I'm just venting. I got suckered into playing this on PS+ and not having done any research didn't know it was from them.
Anyhow, the camera setup, UI indicators, etc are difficult to follow -- I love Smash and the new WB Multiversus but this was just a waste of time.
You're right -- most games are derivatives of other predecessors, but I feel with Hi-Rez they don't have the polish and create mostly bland worlds like other generic F2P games based on the latest trends.
