Deal Details
Tesla has dropped the base price of the Tesla Model Y from $65,990 down to $52,990. This price reduction means the Model Y now qualifies for the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit (details here).

Thanks to Community Member MurraytheDemonSkull for finding this deal.

Additionally, the base prices of all Tesla vehicles have been reduced. The base Model 3 is now $43,990, which is $3,000 lower than before. The Model 3 Performance is now $53,990, which is $9,000 lower than before, and now qualifies for the tax credit.

Editor's Notes

Written by RazorConcepts
  • This is $13,000 lower (19% savings) than the previous base price.
  • Factoring in the tax credit, the price of the Model Y today is $20,000 less than one purchased in December 2022.
  • To qualify for the federal tax credit, one must not exceed the following adjusted gross income limits:
    • $300,000 for married couples filing jointly
    • $225,000 for heads of households
    • $150,000 for all other filers
  • The tax credit is not refundable, which means one must have federal tax due to take advantage of it. If the tax due is less than the credit amount, one can only claim the credit up to the amount of the tax due.
  • Refer to the forum thread for additional deal discussion.

There were honest reviews here from people who wasted their time to test drive a tesla to finally realize what kind of junk that is.

I wonder if there's a strategy to order a color other than white to make sure you get the car before the tax credit might expire.

I'm glad you got a rest & found 2nd wind. As someone that's been on F Lightning waitlist for almost 2 feckn yrs (they still don't know what's what), look fwd to your incessant commentary rest of night. ๐Ÿฟ ๐Ÿ‘€

And why are any of the "stocks" worth what they are?

Could it be because that's what people are willing to pay for it?

Go on...we're all listening how you justify this glorious ponzi equity market we all buy into.
A company's stock could be overvalued or undervalued at any given time. That fact can be debated. But it has some relevance to underlying business. Apple for example makes money by selling products people want to buy. That creates value.

Sh*tcoins on the other hand are straight up large scale Ponzi schemes. Your profits depend entirely on finding another greater fool to pay even more for imaginary tokens than you did. The reason it hasn't completely collapsed yet is because the supply of fools is far greater than anybody imagined.

If your looking for an F150 lightnings, there's a NJ dealer with a few Lariats on the lot (75-96k). I jumped off the f150 waitlist after the last price increase.

What's the point in drag racing an SUV designed to off-road against 2 that are very much not?

Also why would you post a video without any Teslas in it when your entire purpose in life is whining about Teslas? Oh, it's because the Porsche winsโ€”and if it was racing a Model X, it wouldn't have.

Not really seeing any of those "honest reviews" you claim, mainly just people who haven't driven one and never will exaggerating things they've heard, repeating things that were true once years ago as current facts, and straight-up lying.

My girlfriend tried very hard to purchase an F-150 Lightning. But between Ford increasing prices and dealers getting very greedy with insane markups, we finally gave up. The last dealer we talked to who had one in stock, wanted $100K for a trim that did not even have the long range. When we complained about the massive markup, he said he might be able to knock down a grand or two. Beyond ridiculous.

She placed an order for a Tesla Model Y today.

Supposedly Walnut Creek delivers more Lightnings than any dealership in the country.

I probably should have (exited) already, they make you go thru dealer to be taken off list, it's all comical at this point. I will say... the idea of having so much powerwall on wheels was novel & neat. Ford is competely incompetent on this delivery & so I'm eyeballing a cvna Tahoe.

You're mostly right when it comes to shitcoins (i.e. cryptocurrencies that are not Bitcoin, or arguably Ethereum) but I hope you aren't counting Bitcoin in that category because I don't have the time to explain how wrong that is (and this thread is already derailed enough).

Ugh. The dealership model is an albatross around the necks of the legacy automotive industry.

I hope Ford and GM are able to ramp up their EV production faster in the future. More competition will be good for the industry, but they've put themselves in an extremely bad position by waiting so long to take this market segment seriously.

Have a Silverado EV reservation at the moment, but chances are it will be the same siht show. Agree on the powerwall but I decided on a cheapo generator instead. The cost to update my electrical panel for powerwall costs too much.

I would never spend $100k for an F-150. You can get a fully loaded three quarter ton for under $100k last time I checked around covid 2020. Diesel engine and all the creature comforts in the cab.
