Deal Details
Tesla has dropped the base price of the Tesla Model Y from $65,990 down to $52,990. This price reduction means the Model Y now qualifies for the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit (details here).

Thanks to Community Member MurraytheDemonSkull for finding this deal.

Additionally, the base prices of all Tesla vehicles have been reduced. The base Model 3 is now $43,990, which is $3,000 lower than before. The Model 3 Performance is now $53,990, which is $9,000 lower than before, and now qualifies for the tax credit.

Editor's Notes

Written by RazorConcepts
  • This is $13,000 lower (19% savings) than the previous base price.
  • Factoring in the tax credit, the price of the Model Y today is $20,000 less than one purchased in December 2022.
  • To qualify for the federal tax credit, one must not exceed the following adjusted gross income limits:
    • $300,000 for married couples filing jointly
    • $225,000 for heads of households
    • $150,000 for all other filers
  • The tax credit is not refundable, which means one must have federal tax due to take advantage of it. If the tax due is less than the credit amount, one can only claim the credit up to the amount of the tax due.
  • Refer to the forum thread for additional deal discussion.

Is it really Worth to get the EAP for 6k . Will it get increased in future
Not really unless you want auto lane change and highway exit features.

Go without it and try FSD with $200/month before deciding.

Tesla owners are sad regardless of the year.
Ask and you shall find, folks that had these for a couple of years and not afraid of the Tesla mob will let you know.
Except that's competely false. Ask & you shall find Tesla repeatedly tops customer satisfaction surveys (Edmunds, JD Power, Auto Trader, Consumer Reports, ).

The Model 3 earned an average rating of 4.53 out of 5. Below are its ratings from each of the various websites:

AutoTrader average rating – 4.5/5
Edmunds average rating – 4.0/5
HonestJohn average rating- 5.0/5
Parkers average rating – 4.6/5

According to J.D. Power's most recent satisfaction survey, Tesla was found to have the most satisfied owners. The Model 3 received the highest score, 777 points (out of 1,000), followed by the Model Y with 770 points.

Tesla also dominated Consumer Reports' most satisfying cars report late last year. The Model 3 took the top position, with the Model S in third place and the Model Y in fourth place. The Model X rounded out the publication's top 10 list.

Tesla also has 3 2022 brand image awards from KBB.

Very unlikely. New radar upgrade is unlike processor or camera upgrade where they can simply replace. This calls for design change and won't be offer through recall/upgrade.

People getting late delivery might get these sensor (as per current rumors).
These missing sensors - if you dont have enhanced auto pilot or FSD, are they required for everyday driving like with basic auto pilot, parking, reverse, etc?

Who cares, really! I like Teslas, I have done my due diligence, and I am responsible for my decisions. That is all that matters to me. Opinions on my choices from folks on this forum is meaningless and immaterial. And the same about my opinion about their car, house, hobbies, partner, profession... should be as meaningless and immaterial to them.

Time to stop justifying. Smilie

Up to 30days

Hope it doesn't take that long. Account opening, and loan processing should be a matter of hours, not days. And days would be acceptable, but not weeks, even if they're inundated. I have a pre-approved 4.24%, in case the 2.49% GCFCU doesn't happen in two weeks.

Does Tesla offer any kind of wiggle room or discounts if paid in full cash or anything like that? Or is their business model the price you see online is the only price you get?

Discounts for cash? LOL this isn't 1950 man, financing is king and has been for a very long time. You pay the price you see online. Cash sales are 2nd class citizens at this point. You get worse deals at dealerships when trying to pay cash since they cant make any money off the loan.
