Yep I saw it. Thanks for confirming it's not the same monitor. You can go back to sleep now and think about what you've said.
This is absolutely not a total lie. Going from 60hz to 120hz was a GIGANTIC difference. You'll feel like your mouse is stuck in syrup going back to 60hz when you even do office work, gaming has nothing to do with it. Think about your screen is now refreshing twice of what it was. The look and feel is extremely noticeable. I haven't gamed or used a monitor at 60hz for over 10 years.
The confidence. You sure that's the same monitor there buddy? Double check and we will all wait here for your response.

Have been looking for a couple 32s this looks like a decent deal. Need to look up it's brightness. Many Samsung monitors have had trash brightness. I had the s80a and it was like 300 nits. So dim

Can anyone comment on this monitor? I got the LG32 650 from Best Buy before Christmas and the return is up tomorrow. My son is using it for his Xbox Series X. To me a it looks a bit "washed" out. However I'm not using it lol. If this monitor is any better I would be willing to return it and take back the LG from Best Buy (paid $240).

*EDIT* The LG from Best Buy is VA compared to this Samsung IPS

In the market for a 1440p monitor now and I considered this too, but I think I'll pass.

Rtings' review of the 27-inch (should also apply to this model as they're the same generation) said it's just OK. HDR brightness tested particularly mediocre at just under 300 nits. https://www.rtings.com/monitor/re...g5-c27g55t

EDIT: sorry, linked the wrong review. The correct review has better results. https://www.rtings.com/monitor/re...g5-s27ag50

From reading online and what some others have said here IPS is better. VA is best used in a room with no light. The Lg 32" I have looks much better in the office when the window blinds are shut vs them open or with a light on. It's like day/night comparison. I have never used IPS monitor, but I've seen lots of people on SD say they prefer IPS. If I had more time to return my Lg from Best Buy I would buy this Costco monitor just to compare the VA and ips side by side to see which I like best.

Here's a full review. seems to be a good deal for mid-range gaming monitor. I'm looking for a good gaming monitor, and at this price, I'd go for this G5 without hesitation... I'm stuck though as DP 1.2 can be a deal breaker for me.

My first gaming monitor so fwiw but I've been happy with the 27" version. Probably skip it if HDR is important to you. Messed around with it and it didn't look better to me.

Just curious does 120hz refresh actually make difference vs 60hz? I game just fine on 60hz but thinking about upgrading.

I have an IPS monitor and a VA panel TV. After doing research and using my own eyes to compare I have to say IPS is superior. The colors definitely seem to pop more and I'm not sure what it is about the VA panel TV but the colors seem off. Just my own observations.
