Google is offering Google Stadia Users: Stadia Controller Update to Unlock Bluetooth Mode in Stadia Controllers for Free.

- Note, click "Switch to Bluetooth Mode" to begin the Update
- Switching to Bluetooth mode downloads a software update
- System requirements: Chrome 108 or newer
- Once you switch your controller to Bluetooth mode, you can't change it back to use Wi-Fi on Stadia. You can still play wired with USB in Bluetooth mode.
- You can switch to Bluetooth mode, check the controller mode, and check for Bluetooth updates until Dec 31, 2023.
- How do I pair my controller using Bluetooth?
- After switching your controller into Bluetooth mode, press and hold the "Y + Stadia" buttons for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode. The status light will flash orange.
- Then, go to the device you want to play on and pair your controller in the settings. Once paired and connected, the status light on the controller will turn solid white.

I had been using the controller via usb and had really been enjoying it
now it's 10x better at no extra cost.
The games on Stadia were third party.
Either you own them or you don't.
And for some games, like most Ubisoft games on Stadia, you got those added for free to your Ubisoft account if you had purchased them on Stadia.
That's a pretty good deal. You buy the game, then you get refunded full price for the game, and then you get the game back again for free.
Actually, never mind; you have to pay for the sequel game first to get the original game which previously was only available on Stadia.
I'd also like to know this. I tried, but was unsuccessful.
Well, that's not on the attached list of supported devices, so....
