Yeah… The 1080Ti launched at $699 MSRP. This beats the 3090 in some use cases and that launched at $1499. I don't know what universe these guys traveled from where the top 5 fastest GPUs ever all cost less than $500.

This card for $685 is a good deal. It's an even better deal open box, with the credit card, etc. PC parts always get cheaper as time goes on… you wanna use a computer or just shop for one?

That's too bad. The only 2 stores within a 3 hour drive are sold out, and I've never been able to get the best buys near them to price match. Could have made a round trip to ATL.

Same thing no stock that would been a good buy. Amazon warehouse has them around 700 but with no game packages

I asked the PC rep on reddit and his response was that open box items sold on retailers technically come with no warranty, but they could work something out with you if you go through special channels, i.e. contacting that rep.

Still a pretty shitty policy considering they only have a 2 year warranty versus 3 AND they dont let you transfer it to another owner.

Those are the stores with stock within 100 miles of me.

I've purchased microcenter 2 year warranty on all open boxes. The $30 extra will save you a lot of headaches. If you do return, you can apply the purchase cost to a similar computer part. Sometimes the return works out even better in 2 years.

I managed to snag one in Denver that was open box and marked down to 581.99. Keep an eye out for open boxes as people who jumped on these realize they're too big for their cases, power supplies, etc.

Online it said open box was also 684.99 but was marked down when I got there. Not sure why they did 15% instead of 10% but I'll take it.

It doesn't "trounce" it..it's a slightly quicker in some games, in others it loses. They're very close. This has more vram, but more power consumption..pros and cons
