Just be sure to have credit available.
Don't need to have the full amount of the device available as credit, just something (yes even as low as $1)

Damn. I also have a CRAPPY A52 that I got on a deal a year ago from TM. Their TIV for the A52 on this deal is like $498. I would have been nice to dump the turd and get a better phone for tax and AF, but it looks like I will have to wait another year.
EDIT: Crap... if I am still paying installments on that thing for another year, does that mean that the IMEI is essentially locked down? In other words, can I sell it (or trade it to someone other than TM) without issues and just keep making the payments to TM?

Do you know if they will let me pay the balance on the phone now so it can be freed-up? I would assume by your statement that I would have to pay the non promo credited price now and then the promo credit would come off my monthly bill instead of the phone installment... correct?
