Hori has been in the controller business for a long time and they do make a variety that should please anyone from casual to competitive.

No, I mean genuine arcade brand for the buttons and joystick like Sanwa or just generic hori ones.
I guess a better question would be if it's easy to replace. If so it could be a great deal.
