I had a really tough time with us mobile. Never was able to get data to work and customer service was unhelpful. When I decided to give up and transfer to another service they wouldn't give me my account info so I could port my number. They said I had to purchase a plan first (even though I couldn't get their data to work, nor could they). I threaten to report them to the BBB and finally they gave me the account info but the port never worked and I had to change numbers. You might want to try them before porting your number because even if the service doesn't work you might never get your number back.

I'm on their trial. Activated Pixel 7 and S22U both on eSIM.

I signed up in December and my experience has been mixed. Great, friendly and helpful customer support but even though my family have had no issues with their devices (iphones/androids) on the Verizon Warp 5G service in Missouri, I've had bad luck with unusable internet (40+ seconds to load websites). That said we went from paying $180 on a grandfather tmobile plan to $115 (after taxes). Customer support also is shipping me a free sim card to hopefully fix my issues.

february update since this is still getting views - internet has been much better with no difference between what I used to get for speeds on tmobile and what I get now on us mobile. I think there was just something wrong with my account when I started with them.

Our 2 Mint accounts were renewing this coming week, so ported those over. Whole process start to finish took less than half an hour with esims. No complaints so far, but we'll see how it goes.

What a dumb reason for a "deal killer"....lol
People can be silly they want free AND no effort, it doesn't normally work that way.

Switched my lines to us mobile this week. Port in was flawless, and no problem at all with speeds. Came from Verizon postpaid, can't tell a difference

Just make sure to look out for a $10 charge around day 8. I contacted customer service and the refunded me and said it was some issue on their end.

We started with US mobile last week, they were kind enough to let us use the 100 day free trial.

"New numbers created as part of our Warp 5G Free Trial are not eligible for porting out until after a plan has been purchased for that line."

That's taken from the US Mobile website FAQ

EDIT: had us mobile went to google, going back to US Mobile .... please carriers keep offering free service for X months. I have not paid a phone bill since Last July!

I know this has to end eventually... I'll keep riding the wave.

US Mobile service was great easily one of the best providers; period. Also really like the analytics on the site and in app. Customer service was also excellent when needed (which was not often at all).

Does anyone know how soon you have to activate the sim if we do the physical sim route? My Mint plan won't expire for a while, so I'm wondering if I can hang onto this sim and use it later.

You could have had a nice lawsuit, you still might. Legally, they *HAVE TO* release your phone number.
You said you'd report them to BBB -- which has no power whatsoever.
Reporting them to the FCC, was your proper LEVER.
FCC controls telecommunications, which translates to their license.; They won't tell the FCC to GFY.

I have been with them for over a year with unlimited all plan for 4 lines. Zero problem in porting old numbers in and transferring to ESIs. It saves me money.

US mobile is one way lane
Once you port in the existing number you won't be able to port out until you start paying for the line (and that too if your luck favors)
Not worth if you plan on keeping existing number for many years

No eSim Support for Android phone kills the deal for me.
From my experience on the carrier, their Verizon network has much better esim support including many android phones. The tmo side is much more limited.

I tried to use this service and couldn't get it working on the 4 samsung phones I had. This was just over a year ago. 3 s8+ and an a32. I followed suggestions from their customer support which is through chat only for 2 days before giving up.
