I had a really tough time with us mobile. Never was able to get data to work and customer service was unhelpful. When I decided to give up and transfer to another service they wouldn't give me my account info so I could port my number. They said I had to purchase a plan first (even though I couldn't get their data to work, nor could they). I threaten to report them to the BBB and finally they gave me the account info but the port never worked and I had to change numbers. You might want to try them before porting your number because even if the service doesn't work you might never get your number back.

I'm on their trial. Activated Pixel 7 and S22U both on eSIM.

I signed up in December and my experience has been mixed. Great, friendly and helpful customer support but even though my family have had no issues with their devices (iphones/androids) on the Verizon Warp 5G service in Missouri, I've had bad luck with unusable internet (40+ seconds to load websites). That said we went from paying $180 on a grandfather tmobile plan to $115 (after taxes). Customer support also is shipping me a free sim card to hopefully fix my issues.

february update since this is still getting views - internet has been much better with no difference between what I used to get for speeds on tmobile and what I get now on us mobile. I think there was just something wrong with my account when I started with them.

Lol. BBB is yelp , but for boomers.
The bbb has no authority to do anything. Companies don't care about the bbb.

I am on my 10 day trial with them (started it before this promo started I think)...if I port in my number now, do I get an additional 90 days? I'm kinda confused by their wording and I asked their CS and they don't seem to understand what I'm asking.
Yea, we don't understand either.

You can't remember if you started the trial less than 10 days ago ? Seek mental help

I have been with them for over a year with unlimited all plan for 4 lines. Zero problem in porting old numbers in and transferring to ESIs. It saves me money.
Try porting out and you will know

I was quite hesitant to switch to US Mobile over the holidays but with red pocket offering very little to keep customers and having poor reception with Mint I decided to give it a try. Both mine and my wife's line worked almost immediately with esim (iPhone XR and se 2nd gen). Numbers ported over easily both within an hour.

I haven't been charged since signing up mid December so I'm happy so far. Reception in my metropolitan area is better than red pocket or mint was. We'll see if it keeps up but so far so good.

Just giving my anecdotal experience and not saying this happens to all new subscribers.

Whenever a company throws on a bunch of patriot symbols on their brand (w/o actually serving armed forces) the company will suck bad. They are playing on identity politics to snag branding rather than having a good product

"US Mobile is an American hybrid network operator on Verizon and T-Mobile's cellular network in the United States. The company has more than 100,000 subscribers in the United States and offers usage analytics, eSIM data roaming, and other services.[2] It provides 24-hour customer service operations from its offices in Islamabad and Karachi, Pakistan."
So have you tried them?

I have been trying from for the last 75 days since the December deal. The service quality is just okay, lots of times my phone is unusable. Customer service in chat was poor but on Reddit it was outstanding. If you have issues, join their subreddit. Gonna move off it, you get what you pay for I guess.

Its interesting But I will not spend my money with any foreign companies if I can avoid it. especially India and Pakistan.
Its not as much political as it is I just don't care for the way both of those countries treat their people and the way business is done.

.....

I don't disagree with your statement in general, but I think it's misplaced here. Other than the logo, nothing in US Mobile's public face seems to try to convince me that they're specifically supporting, or identifying with US Armed Forces.

By most user reports, US Mobile has, in fact, developed a 'good product' instead of relying on identity marketing, with good pricing. And regardless of where their customer service staff is located, they're generally considered to be one of the 3 (or so) best MVNO customer service teams in the industry..

Agreed. Not once have I thought they were somehow military related simply because they have an eagle as their logo. The eagle and red white and blue makes me think American which seems accurate when the company is called US mobile. That's it.

Hmmm, hope this deal sticks around for awhile. Just referred myself for a new Visible line, so next month's bill will only be $5, but after that, I'd port to USM for 100 days and then back to Visible

Anyone know if it's easy to switch back and forth between Tmobile and Verizon sim? I've been on USM and generally happy but what seems like random data de-prioritization has bit me. Wondering if my area would be better served with TMO.

Was with Pageplus before and didn't have as bad experience with de-prioritization. FWIW, I use about 3 GB/month.
