I had a really tough time with us mobile. Never was able to get data to work and customer service was unhelpful. When I decided to give up and transfer to another service they wouldn't give me my account info so I could port my number. They said I had to purchase a plan first (even though I couldn't get their data to work, nor could they). I threaten to report them to the BBB and finally they gave me the account info but the port never worked and I had to change numbers. You might want to try them before porting your number because even if the service doesn't work you might never get your number back.

I'm on their trial. Activated Pixel 7 and S22U both on eSIM.

I signed up in December and my experience has been mixed. Great, friendly and helpful customer support but even though my family have had no issues with their devices (iphones/androids) on the Verizon Warp 5G service in Missouri, I've had bad luck with unusable internet (40+ seconds to load websites). That said we went from paying $180 on a grandfather tmobile plan to $115 (after taxes). Customer support also is shipping me a free sim card to hopefully fix my issues.

february update since this is still getting views - internet has been much better with no difference between what I used to get for speeds on tmobile and what I get now on us mobile. I think there was just something wrong with my account when I started with them.

I got in on this deal for Black Friday switching from Verizon. Took a little bit of help from support to get up and running but I have noticed no issues with the service and my Verizon network extender works with this service.

Anyone know if it's easy to switch back and forth between Tmobile and Verizon sim? I've been on USM and generally happy but what seems like random data de-prioritization has bit me. Wondering if my area would be better served with TMO.

Was with Pageplus before and didn't have as bad experience with de-prioritization. FWIW, I use about 3 GB/month.
Are you using a 4G or 5G device? If you're using a 4G device, then both will be deprioritized (but TMO could be less congested in your area...hard to say). Based on your comment about Pageplus I'm guessing you're using a 4G device, as USM should be higher priority than Pageplus if you're using a 5G device. Probably just a congested area for Verizon?

I've had a US Mobile account for a few years now for a backup phone account. For the most part it has been a good experience and the support has been pretty good...until recently. Like others, I've been having terrible speeds, basically unusable, with data. I'm not sure how much of it is a US Mobile issue and how much is the Verizon network. Local Verizon folks nearby had tons of problems with the more recent 5G switch if they didn't have the latest phones. I'm using a 4G phone and it has only been useful for call and text, but data is crapola. However, I have taken it to another location ten miles away and get halfway decent speeds comparable to what I got before. I don't know if it is due to towers in the arear or different densities of usage that make Priority a major issue. For a year or two a while back I had been using an unlimited plan for most of my internet date because I'm in a weird spot where options are pretty much nil, even though I'm in the middle of a a busy and growing area. That's no longer possible, so I just activate a cheap talk and text plan every few months to keep the number and have a backup when I need it. It's great for that, the plan flexibility and value. If you need data, they've got some work to do.

My experience with US Mobile was good. Ported in from Google Fi no problem. Support excellent for both. Reason for switch was cost.

Used Verizon service with US Mobile. Occasional stutters with service but may have been my Samsung S21. I've read that the S22 has improved antennae function. Reboot or Airplane Mode resolved connection loss issue (if not due to a black hole of no service for that area). Internet speeds as expected given signal strength. Horrible inside certain businesses such as Costco and Sam's Club. Don't think that was a US Mobile issue.

My home is a Bermuda Triangle of cell service. Thank goodness for WiFi.

US Mobile offers Verizon Postpaid prioritized service, ie same priority as Verizon customers when I signed up. Cannot say I was deprioritized ever, but I wasn't in high trafficked areas where it might happen or banging on data. Never used more than my data plan afforded, not even close, but if you do you will be throttled to a crawl.

Would still be with US Mobile but Spectrum offered me 1 year free mobile service. It is Verizon as well. Differences are rare slooooow notification of voicemails (may take more than a day) and maybe a little less dropping of service. Same dodgy data speed in Costco and Sam's Club. Porting out of US Mobile was easy and without issue.

If I used the 100 day offer in November, can I get this offer again with a new line to be transferred in?

I have switched between GSM and CDMA a time or two with US Mobile with a couple of different accounts. As I remember it wasn't that bad, but you need to swap sims and get with support to make the switch.

I signed up with their 10 day trial by requesting a new number and have 6 days left. Anyone knows how/ if I can get the 90 days additional trial? I intend to port my main number to them after the 10 day trial.

Agreed. Not once have I thought they were somehow military related simply because they have an eagle as their logo. The eagle and red white and blue makes me think American which seems accurate when the company is called US mobile. That's it.
Woah woah. Didn't you know? Eagles, red white and blue are exclusively reserved for the armed forces..

Lol. BBB is yelp , but for boomers.
The bbb has no authority to do anything. Companies don't care about the bbb.
That's practically a meme at this point, repeated by the ignorant. You clearly have no idea what each site's business model is if you think that's remotely true.

Yes, it's true the BBB is not a government agency and many companies don't care about that. However there are companies that do, and the mere mention of them can cause them to change their response. If that doesn't do it, a formal complaint on their website can resolve other issues. Again I will stress, many companies don't care but if you do your research, BBB complaints can be a useful tool.

As it should have, no network providers like the data hogs...
A Netflix HD stream uses roughly 3GB per hour.

I agree data hogs ruined the unlimited data for everyone, but using 15GB is now considered a data hog? What year is this, 2010?

4G (LTE) phones have deprioritized data.

Only 5G phones get prioritized data.

I ported out with no problems dont know what the problem is.
Same. I guess it was user error. I've ported in and out of almost every mvnos out there, and as long as you give them the exact correct info, I've never faced the problem. The hardest this year was porting out of TMobile as I didn't know there was a built in porting lock feature (or whatever it's called).

Were you able to get past their website's IMEI check, or did you find a workaround. I have an unlocked S22 device and it's says mine doesn't support eSIM, despite it definitely supporting eSims. It seems many others have had similar issues for months, and it's a US Mobile system issue.

Ok update. I did a live chat, and they fixed it on their end in a few minutes.

Been debating between USM and Visible. From what I've read online, USM doesn't deprioritize until you exceed the 40GB on basic or 100GB on the premium plans. Finishing up my 10 day trial now and here in the Dallas area, service has been great. Worst case, I'll switch and hate it and just switch to visible or some other carrier.
I was on visible, and it was the worst customer service you can imagine. US mobile was ten times better, and I've never had a problem with the network on the 5G phones I had. One challenge, if you're coming from using Tmobile network phones like the 9+ Ihad. They will have to work with you to change the network settings on the phone. But once that was done, it was fantastic.
