I see what OP is talking about. Browsing the app there seems to be some items (Socks and underwear from what I can find) that have a coupon that says "Buy two save $50" so I'm guessing the coupon is taking off $50 if you buy at least two or taking $50 every time you buy two pairs.

You can't order through the app you can just see what you want and then make a list to go buy it in the store

(Edit) for those curious I went through all the app categories and this seems to exclusively apply to underwear, socks and undershirts (specifically Hanes shirts and underwear, and Family Dollar brand socks and women's underwear).

Oh wait. OP walked out with some merchandize without paying? The last time I checked, someone got tackled and arrested for doing that.

No, what I meant is that the app works like a digital notepad. You add the things you want to buy to your "list" so you remember what to grab but you still go and pay as usual. OP's receipt is proof they paid, they just didn't pay anything since the coupon kept taking $50 off over and over.

I know and I didn't mean the app but he/she did walk in the store and grab bunch of stuff for free. How would the cashier not know?

thats right.

The title has rough instructions. In store use APP to scan merchandise. All eligible items will be buy 2 get $50 off. They will scan the items at register. Enter your family dollar rewards phone number and the coupon will apply to all items.

It will be fixed fast. There was 2 others doing the same thing. I went to another store that was cleaned out and the employees claim its buy 2 get half off but its mostly likely $5 off. There's no limitations on quantity hence 72 items. You can try to use the app to do a pick up order maybe? but I bet its cancelled.

From a legal standpoint -- If you knowingly abuse a glitch for financial gain or free merchandise, that constitutes fraud. Just like if you found a glitch to get free money from an ATM, you would get in plenty of trouble.

It sounds like this would be at a lesser degree, but it is still technically considered a form of fraud.
