Reminder that you could always check your library or library apps and borrow it for free. Our local library (houston, Tx) have this one on the Libby app.

Einstein was somewhat famous for being forgetful…

I went to buy it at Amazon, and it remembered that I already bought this item long time ago Smilie - anyone knows a good book on how to remember these things?

Read the book. If you just buy it like most SD and not use it, that's not gonna help.

A good read. Here's the guy from Ted Lasso demonstrating the type of memory feat this book talks about.

Is it really important to clutter your brain by remembering everything ? Isn't it better to distill knowledge from what you learn and takeaway the highlights ? If you remember Fax, how exactly does it help you to develop and make better decisions and judgments?

This is my literal favorite book ever. For anyone interested in how memory works, I highly, highly recommend it. It's split half between describing the memory and the brain, and half between describing the author's (absolutely amazing) experience competing in the U.S. Memory Championship.

I remembered the entire grocery list from the book a solid 5 years after. Even today I often picture Claudia Schiffer splashing around in a pool of cottage cheese.

Although it's part of the subtitle, it's not really quite what the book is about, per se. That is to say, it is not an instruction book on how to remember everything. It's really a wonderful book - I highly recommend it for those who enjoy nonfiction.

Technically not this one. Just gives you the reporter's experience with the people in this competitive memorization world. Great read.
