Thanks for this, tried ordering last time but was telling me to go to store. Was able to place the order online this time.

Getting it for the hopefully 4 years of updates and to use as a backup phone after 6 months

Unable to replicate it now. It says the cost of phone is $239, need to additionally add plan.
Open a new tab with your browser "private mode", i.g. Edge's InPrivate, Chrome's incognito.

I was able to get two orders through without an issue.

My understanding is you have to register the new phone's IMEI via customer service.

Need to be a "new customer" to get the phone for free. However, once activated, you may swap your existing MetroPCS SIM in the new phone.

Note: the drawer method usually keeps original SIM in for 180 days. So swaping out SIM may (or may not) break the unlock process.

Got the OnePlus phone a few weeks ago. I had to use my wife's iPhone to buy it it wouldn't work with with my android 🤷
