New with 3 year warranty from authorized Lenovo seller.
Gen 1 has better battery life but worse performance and camera than Gen 2. Most prefer Gen 1 over Gen 2 on Reddit.

Using Windows 11 here , you have to go into advanced power options and unhide Hibernate. It will then be shown as a power management option. Also, make sure that "Always on Usb" is disabled in bios. After doing that, my battery lasts a week+ if unused, whereas before, it would be dead overnight.

Damn good price. I bought the gen 2 for $1100 on Amazon.
Look up i7 1260p X1 Nano Gen 2.
Unfortunately, it is dead. The M2 SSD died within 20 minutes. Lenovo took 2 days (MLK holiday weekend) to respond but they are brining someone out on-site to my house to replace it. This is IBM level customer service. But still, a brand new 20 minute old laptop should not die. While it was running, it was glorious.

You don't need a 2 pound laptop for that stuff. This laptop is for excel on the go and working in airports. Not every laptop is about performance.

After a year and a half, my Thinkpad hinge for the monitor broke. The black bezel is separating from the screen. Thankfully the screen still works but I can't close it. Just purchased "additional warranty" from Lenovo because my stock warranty expired. You have to wait 30 days to make a claim. Bought the "better" protection warranty.

FWIW: X1 Nano Gen 3 was announce in Dec '22 and should be out by Apr '23. I'd expect these prices (gen 1 and 2) to continue to drop as retailers move aging inventory.
