I have two of them. They are fantastic for the price. Dtsx and atmos capable. They're not going to compete with high end bars that have true up fire speakers but you still get virtualized surround and a GREAT center channel that works with adaptive fit sound. Forget Alexa feature because it will basically deafen you in the middle of the night if you try using it(Alexa sucks anyway). Loss and mids are also great, music, movies. Not THUMP, but tight response. You will not find many that compete at 100 bucks. You can add sub and surrounds but I did not feel them necessary. This is an honest opinion.

I wouldn't use this with my tv but it ended up being great as a computer speaker for me. It's relatively compact and fits under my monitor riser. Significantly better than my old computer speakers. One note is that the hdmi is ARC only so hdmi in from computer doesn't work. I have optical out on my mobo, which works great for me

Received this last month for $88, it's about what the price should be. Nothing to brag about and sucks on Bluetooth.

I bought this at the last deal. Worked awesome for the 3 times I used it and then it stopped coming on. Samsung doesn't do exchanges so it has to.be returned and rebought..i.havent sent it back yet because I threw the box away and it's just been inconvenient. I should just buy another one and use that box to send the broke one back.

I bought this in black (S60B) for ~$120 before the holidays as Christmas gift for my daughter. It has very powerful output that we only tried it at 10%. I also got a pair of openbox 9200S surround speakers to go with it for $65 from BB. Make sure you add it to your Smartthing app in order to have better control of it. At $100, it is a steal.

Is the difference between HW-S60B and S61B just the color (black vs. white)? I bought the S60B before Thanksgiving for $140 and thought it was a steal. Bummed about the price drop, but would be even more bummed if the S61B is better 'spec' wise.

Thinking of doing the same thing with open box 9200s, any issues with connectivity? Also, do you feel you're missing out at all on bass without a sub? I'm not big into punchy audio, so think I can live without it but curious your experience.

I had it and didn't like it. I prefer the TCL 3.1.2 from Walmart.
you mean the TCL Alto 8+?

Hey I'm thinking about use it for my PC too. Are you able to utilize the 5.0ch or PC could only output 2.0ch via optical?

I have it, works great for the price. I bought it for a secondary TV in my pool table room. Exactly what I was hoping for. I do have it hooked up with an optical cable, so I can't speak to the wifi dropping. Bluetooth seems to work, I connected it to my laptop a few times without issue.

I got this the last time it went on sale. It definitely lacks the mids and lows. Using the SmartThings app lets you fine tune the audio settings but doesn't help much. Atmos and surround effect are really weak as well. I was looking into adding a subwoofer but it looks like the only one that works with this is the Samsung SWA-W510 which is like $300. Anyone know if we can pair a different sub to this thing ?

Great soundbar at $100! Better than the popular Bose TV Speaker. Came with Dolby Atmos and Virtual X and BT5 vs BT4.

I also got the Samsung Q700B at twice of this price but it's took too much space with weak bass (still better than this one), so I returned it for this one.

I have only tested the 9200S briefly before my daughter took the soundbar to her apartment. The soundbar itself is pretty sufficient for the bass in general. There is an option to add a subwoofer if needed. I am not a huge fan of sub even for movie that I have to set the sub of my own soundbar (Vizio Elevate) down to -8. The surround seems a bit weak (particularly with such a high output from the soundbar), but I have not tested it thoroughly.
