I have two of them. They are fantastic for the price. Dtsx and atmos capable. They're not going to compete with high end bars that have true up fire speakers but you still get virtualized surround and a GREAT center channel that works with adaptive fit sound. Forget Alexa feature because it will basically deafen you in the middle of the night if you try using it(Alexa sucks anyway). Loss and mids are also great, music, movies. Not THUMP, but tight response. You will not find many that compete at 100 bucks. You can add sub and surrounds but I did not feel them necessary. This is an honest opinion.

I wouldn't use this with my tv but it ended up being great as a computer speaker for me. It's relatively compact and fits under my monitor riser. Significantly better than my old computer speakers. One note is that the hdmi is ARC only so hdmi in from computer doesn't work. I have optical out on my mobo, which works great for me

Received this last month for $88, it's about what the price should be. Nothing to brag about and sucks on Bluetooth.

Anyone have a recommendation on this vs the Polk deal at similar price? https://slickdeals.net/f/16380307-polk-audio-react-sound-bar-used-like-new-89-55-at-amazon-warehouse

Great soundbar at $100! Better than the popular Bose TV Speaker. Came with Dolby Atmos and Virtual X and BT5 vs BT4.

I also got the Samsung Q700B at twice of this price but it's took too much space with weak bass (still better than this one), so I returned it for this one.
The Bose TV speaker has surprisingly good bass when watching TV at low volume. My Samsung HW-R650 seems to have non-existent bass at low volume and the bass sounds the same as my built-in TV speakers. The bass doesn't kick in until you put the soundbar volume to at least 30. Does the HW-S61B lack bass when the soundbar volume is below 20?

Don't curse me out pls or get angry, just trying to help. I don't have experience with this Polk soundbar, but I own 2 Polk Magnifi Minis I got for pretty much a steal at Walmart a few years ago ($45 each, brand new). So this is anecdotal and basically, all it has in common is the brand. They are amazing for what you get and for the price, I have no regrets at all, even with the issues I'm about to mention. If I bought them for MSRP, I'd be mad though. Keep in mind, mine are updated since they are connected to Wifi and Google Home. When they work they work well but when they don't, they can be really annoying.

For one, they tend to "crash" now and again and need to be power cycled. When they crash they basically don't accept remote input or even button presses. Another issue is that frequently, they for some reason stop "detecting" their input. I have one of my systems on the TV in my bedroom and then another in my office. They are both on ARC and so, I expect that when I change inputs, it shouldn't be a big deal, but it is. On my TV (TCL), I will often switch from the TV's OS which is Roku to Apple TV and for some reason, ARC doesn't pick up on the Polk, I'll have to manually fiddle with it, yet sometimes it does. In my office, I have the M7 32 and it will often flawlessly switch from optical (PC) to arc (Monitor), but then at times it will just not do it. Sometimes I have to fuss with the remote when I change the volume for whatever reason; volume up a few times? lose audio completely until I hit optical or tv arc; volume down a bit? same thing. Even when it only is using arc, it'll behave like this at times. This makes it so I must have the Polk control in reaching distance. I can't depend on the TV remote. Also, as I mentioned, I have 2 sets and it happens on both so I know I didn't get a bad one or whatever. This is likely to happen to anyone unless you get really lucky.

This is why I'm here looking into this Samsung, because I don't think I'd trust going with another Polk, unless it was for $45 Smilie or I could test it first and return it if it exhibited the same behavior.

I have this soundbar and it's pretty capable for the price point. If you want the best sound out of it. Make sure the output sound that is being sent through is in bitstream format. That way the actual recorded sound format will be processed by soundbar based on what formats are supported by tv. If everything in tv is set to PCM, then don't expect amazing sound because the sound that is being sent out to soundbar is a stereo sound. Also make sure the sound mode in soundbar is set to adaptive. For general YouTube contents PCM sounds fine but for anthing 5.1, it's important to have the sound format in tv setup to bitstream so that it can send the actual sound format of the show or movie.

I had it and didn't like it. I prefer the TCL 3.1.2 from Walmart.
I had it. Doubt you had it. It's great and is no brainer at this price. I have bought two, one for my office and one for bedroom.

For those that own this, does it have auto shut off? My current Samsung sound bar does, and it's annoying. Mainly because I can never find the the remote.

Thanks for sharing. I just ordered one through Samsung Money Members page. My regular EPP was showing it at $199. I was passively looking for something to replace my 20yo Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers and I was looking at Creative Stage V2 to have a good bass. For this price, the Samsung is a no-brainer, especially since it'll integrate with my phone much easier.

It looks great if you have the Samsung Frame TV with a white bezel.
