I've never had a line freeze on me, though I'm not often boarding @ temperatures lower than 10-15°F or so.

Not really as an exposed tube freeze up easily. You should look for an insulated tube.

These are a game changer for hiking. Highly recommended if you're active or want to hike more.

That said, it's not a coincidence this sale is in January where many parts of the country aren't hiking outside as much.

What is the difference between the Classic light and the Rogue light aside from $5 price of course?

Also, weird question but can this be used without sticking the tube on your mouth? kids don't like sharing drinks so can you pinch the tube to have water flow etc?

I got this error when I tried PayPal but got thru when I switched to CC.

The 15% newsletter sign up seems ineligible due to free shipping automatically applied.
Thanks. I retried with credit card and it went through.

The privilege of selecting from 3 colors instead of 2 (even tho 2 of the 3 are the same anyway)?

From the ones listed and after doing some research, I determined the Skyline LR 10 is the most diversified all-around pack for most non-running activities.

good entry level gear at great prices. the osprey deal a couple weeks ago was better for more advanced/technical use. just be mindful of the reservoir sizes; 1.5L with no extra capacity for an additional bottle goes quickly.
I think CamelBack's are mostly as good as Osprey packs from what I've seen and used. I'm actually sending back both of the packs I got from that sale due to the fit for me. Osprey doesn't seem to work as well for us fat boys. I am going to keep the lumbar bag I got as that seems to fit OK.

Does this come with the bladder or no?
Yes, it comes with the reservoir.

Does this fit in a 65L hiking backpack like Osprey Atmos AG 65?
I'm assuming you're talking about the reservoir? If so, yes. I see on Osprey's site that pack has a hydration sleeve.
https://www.osprey.com/us/en/prod...65S22.html
Internal hydration reservoir sleeve with center back exit port

I wondered the same thing and then found the answer in the specs. The Classic Light has 2L of gear capacity while the Rogue Light has 5L of gear capacity. Both have a 2L reservoir.

Is this good for snowboarding?

I bought a camelbak water pack for skiing months ago. I got one use from it on a hot day hiking.

it was leaking when I used it the 2nd time out skiing. I had to file a warranty claim to replace the bag inside. I don't know how common that is. But the last thing you want on the cold mountain is a leaking water bag down your bag.

It's great in theory. Hands free hydration.

So you drink out of it? What does it taste like?
a little bit of a rubbery aftertaste the first few times. They claim to use some sort of anti-microbial material for the water bag to prevent germies.

I live in a very high dry desert climate 24/7. So water outside is not optional

If you are looking to use these for skiing or snowboarding, look elsewhere. You have to make sure the tub is insulated otherwise it would freeze just like it did on mine. Lesson learned the hard way. I then went with a proper ski hydration bag and no problems with it for full 2 days of skiing.

Even my insulated tube was frozen over. Some tips I've heard is to just blow the water back into the bladder.
