Note that you can trade in with T-Mobile and they'll pay your balance off...although they only offer $95 for a 12 Mini 256gb. A better deal might show up in the next 2 years. This is mainly good for people like me who collect free iPhones etc and keep them on the shared $15 plan.

how much can you sell the iphone12 mini after 2 years? cost is 5$ per month for 24 months, plus tax pay now, about 200$

Mine was last month, claim by 12/31, use by 1/31. Those rewards seem to just pop up and disappear though, not sure if all diamond get the same ones at the same time?

Thanks OP! Got a black 256 for $60 tax and $1.29/month (I'm on the $15/GB plan).

To help others...got a new phone # with GoogleVoice, paid the $3 to unlock. The new GV interface doesn't make it obvious where to set the Voicemail PIN.

I really wanted this deal to make sense but it's just not compelling enough for a 24mo commitment.

I calculate total cost of ~80 in sales tax + 10 activation fee + 2.5/mo*24 fees/taxes + 3 GV# = 153 and it's highly unlikely it'll be worth that much in 2 years. You can buy a used unlocked 256gb one right now for around $300.

And I must say - Xfinity is crazy setting MSRP of the 256gb model at $780. Aside from the fact a brand new iPhone 13 mini 256gb is $699, it also means that if you do this deal and back out before the 24th month the buy-out price of the phone is almost guaranteed to exceed the fair value.

Signed up a month ago and waiting on my gc but wish I could get a iPhone again since using Android.

The service is okay imo definitely not postpaid Verizon by any means alot of dead spots.

Cost is good though, two lines unlimited for 60 on top of internet service.
