I saw a printout being prepared at my local costco, which says Macbook Pro 14" with M1Chip for $1400.00. It's an instore only deal as of now. I couldn't take the picture, since it was not yet public. They didn't post it on the display yet. But check your local stores, since the new one is out today. I hope it goes live by now.

I checked online, it still displays old value. Wait for a day or two before you thumbs down this deal.

We might be seeing some price reductions on M1 models of everything soon. The M2 is supposed to be in production and rolled out to retail in a few weeks. Preorders are already on Apple.com. .

I still have a 2014 MacBook pro 13 late bought it when I was a freshman. Will be attending graduate film school this fall. Should I buy the m1 deal now or waiting for M3 air for maybe editing school work?

For as big as Costco is, and as much profit as they make, why is their technology so bad? Why can't you find real-time stock status for a store like you can at Sam's Club? Why don't they have "Scan-n-Go" like Sam's Club? They seem so backwards.

In any case, this is a great deal if true. It's so painful going to Costco it barely makes it worth taking a chance only to find out my Costco store price isn't $1400.

I believe that's about $100 more than BF. Not bad
Are you thinking of the 13" MBP vs the 14"? I cant find any threads where the 14" pricing was this low.

If you're editing videos, any M1 + will work. Its more about what you need now, rather than later. Been using a M1 Pro 14" and it's been amazing.

Many of us since last October has bought 14 inch macbook pro in 1599 that was listed regularly at best buy, costco, amazon and everywhere else. We are feeing low seeing this goes even that much deep down in couple of months. Whoever will get this in 1400 will surely hit a fortune. This is an insanely great laptop. In 1400, if it is true, look nowhere else.

I always think Costco is purposely doing this. I can't think of a reason though.

They want to preserve the sense of discovery by shopping in store without knowing what you'll find. You will go in looking for a $1400 MacBook Pro and walk out with 4 pallets of trail mix.
