BH Photo sent mine basically two days after order. PS5 going to be good for likely 3-5 years without me needing to delete anything as I got the 2TB

Looks like I am returning the 1TB i bought from best buy for $145. Got myself a 2TB. GREAT deal. Thank you!
If you guys return a used drive, make sure you completely wipe it. Even if you delete everything, the data can still be recovered.

FYI everybody, WD is trying to clear their stock out before gen 5 releases. These things have been going on sale about once every week or two. Prices hold there until the stock runs low, then they raise prices until they get more in, then drops them again. Price will come down to about $180/2TB if you have any patience and can wait a couple weeks. If you need it now then even $200 is a good deal for this drive.

If you don't need a heatsink then you should buy the Hynix P41 Platinum 2TB for $181. It's a better drive, albeit not by a lot over the SN850X. If you do need a heatsink, you can buy aftermarket for ~$15, bringing the total to about $200, which honestly is a better deal over paying $200 for the SN850X. Better drive, better heatsink, and better deal if you're spending $200.

I'm not a fan of the SN850X's heatsink. It felt very cheap to me and was almost entirely plastic.
