China banned MIcron's chip and Micron manufactures for most US brands, so if they cannot sell to China, might have to sell in the US market. Assuming China won't lift the ban for another year, in 3 months we will have tons of top-brand SSDs in the US market.
Confusing title is confusing.

Non-heatsink version finally went to $147 and $145 when on special.
Heatsink version was always $20 more expensive.
So, getting the heatsink version for $150 pretty much means that the non-heatsink version will be around $140 or 135 at some point in the coming month or month and a half.
This also means that you're technically getting the sn850x for $130 + $20 for the heatsink....which is a great deal
Installed, used Macrium reflect free, cloned from existing 1TB NVME SSD, up and running. Seeing full speed.
I first cloned with the WD Acronis True Image and it would not boot. Instead of figuring out I just switched to Macrium and it booted first try.
It's very fast, and I have more space. Would recommend.
I disagree but I could be wrong. At the rate that we are going, I believe this and 980 pro will be hitting 100 before the year end. I bought the both version of 1TB for 65 and 54 respectively.
Non heatsink btw.
I love the performance of this drive.
