If you're like me and wondering why a 125g serving of rice has 3.5g of fat and 200mg of sodium, the ingredients are as follows:
Water, Basmati Rice, Sunflower Oil, Rice Flour, Sea Salt, Soy Lecithin (Emulsifier), Distilled Monoglycerides (Emulsifiers), Glucono Delta Lactone.

Compared to the world standard of microwave rice, Nikishi, which is 210g with 0g of fat and 20mg of sodium and contains only: Water, Rice, and Glucono Delta Lactone.

Really sick of Amazon having 5 page descriptions, multiple photos of food products and always leaving ingredients out.
What am I missing?

$1.90 x 8 = $15.20 at your Walmart. These are $9.16 and $9.56. Seems like a good deal.

Basmati is even cheaper: 9.16, or 8.70 S&S.

Not such a great deal. I was at Walmart yesterday and they had these for $1.90 each. We buy the 20 lbs bags of jasmine rice, but these are convenient and more expensive of course.

Also, I'm wondering why the 2-5 weeks shipping???

The ads is really confusing, I thought it was 8 packs total, not 16 pack. Walmart is 2 pack for $1.90.

Seems a bit overpriced for rice, but a quick alternative to worse options so may as well get some for when in a pinch.

Maybe YMMV, but there was a 40% off coupon when I checked out using S&S. Total pre-tax was $5.26.

Yes, I got that, too. Was going to try getting the basmati instead, but was concerned that the coupon would disappear and I wouldn't be able to get it back. Amazon can be glitchy that way.

Uncle Roger would whoop peoples ass for buying pre made rice in a package like these. Uncle Roger said make your own rice with a rice cooker

Our daughter loves these jasmine rice cups. As with anything like this, you're paying for convenience. When we're home, we usually use our 20 lbs. bag of to make our own portioned out microwave ready rice, but these are very convenient to travel with. Purchased a couple...thx, OP!
