I've seen Facebook ads for this many times for same price - I get tons of photo equipment ads because I do corporate photos and such. At $21, it's a steal and they're just selling it for a loss after factoring in shipping costs. My $120 backdrop stand by Impact for instance weighs considerable. I'm in a photography club at our corporate office and it really irks me when I hear people saying "oh, I wish I could start doing stuff like you, but I don't have any backdrop stand, etc....and I'm wondering if I can borrow all of your equipment". Like seriously dude, if you spend just a little time on Amazon, you could literally get an entire backdrop kit for $21.....which is only equivalent to 1% of your $2000 camera that you always brag about.
I have tons of equipment and from my observation, many camera accessories are from the same factory. Good example - I paid $55 for this off-brand Selens brand eyelighter. I wasn't happy with the reflective fabric material so I bought this $180 Glow brand eyelighter from Adorama. All of the metal pieces that make up the stand and frame are EXACTLY the same between the $55 brand and $180 one (just different logo decal). Only difference was the fabric material (the reflective material on the Glow is noticeably more shiny and reflective).
